In town and fireworks from the church

We had the switching on of the Christmas lights this evening in town but after my surgery yesterday I was only able to manage a short, slow and painful walk this afternoon before returning home.

I was however able to grab a few shots of the fireworks launched from the church tower from our garden so all was not lost - my wife and daughter did manage to get into town for the events this evening and it was very well attended.

When I am more mobile I do intend to get some evening shots of the illuminations and some more shop window images showing a Christmas theme.
