Avebury stones

On an impulse and after looking at the moody sky, once my shopping was completed I thought I would drive to Avebury to photograph the stones hopefully without too many visitors about.

I started at the Trees of Wisdom still used by the Druids during their ceremonies before walking along the ridge to capture some images of the stones.

I only spent about an hour there before heading home but there were not many visitors about some a little time and effort allowed me to get photos without people.
