X100s in Cheltenham

Today, Rob and I went to Cheltenham so he could drop some equipment off at the camera shop for repair.

I took just the Fuji X100s with me and enjoyed the experience even though there were not too many exciting subjects so I concentrated on abstracts and buildings etc more than people.

A good few hours out with Rob and the weather started to improve as the day went on.

Archie at 3

Our grandson Archie was 3 on 25 Aug and after a hectic few days of presents and party as well as trips out he came to see us yesterday afternoon for a peaceful walk in the park!
He has the energy of an Olympic athlete and is either running or flying along on his scooter with a big smile on his face.
I managed to grab a few photos of the afternoon and Archie in full flight.

Elmwood Equestrian

Rob and I attended the Elmwood equestrian event today, it was a mix of events with the prime part being the cross country with jumps so we concentrated on this and were able to get fairly close to some key jumps and get some good images.
I used the D500 with both the 300mm f4 PF as well as the 24-120 f4 lens and I am happy with the results even though the variety of opportunities was not as great as I had hoped.
We were also blessed with good weather, parking and access to the event.
