Sunday walk in Cheltenham

I was in Cheltenham this afternoon and took the X-Pro1+35mm f1.4 with me to grab a few images of the people and places.

It was sad to see the homeless on the streets but at least people were giving them hot drinks and food to keep them warm.

There are a couple of abstracts at the end and some photos of the Tesla electric car - £54K buys you one if you are well healed, 350 miles on a full charge.

Magic lens

I took the Fuji 56mm f1.2 APD out this afternoon on the X-Pro1 as I wanted to see how it performs for street work.

It is nice a fast to focus and delivers some really sharp images with lovely smooth out of focus areas.

I did grab a few B&W images as well as the colour shots.

Moody at the viewpoint.

I headed out to one of our local viewpoints at the weekend and took the X-Pro1 and lenses.

It was very windy and rain was coming and going and I was determined to grab some photos.

I used the 56mm to grab the distant light rays breaking through the dark the switched to the 18mm for some shots of the sky rushing across the valley toward where I was.

Small and sweet

I took my little Pany LX7 out today as it has been a while since I last used it.

It is an amazing compact with a stunning Leica lens and it has the bonus of shooting Raw images.

We had another dull, overcast and rainy day but I was determined to grab a few images.

Oh so wet

A horrible day today, continuous driving rain and wind that made it even worse!

I had to go into town so took just the Ricoh GR with me, a great small and very capable camera that is fast and inconspicuous so grabbed a few photos.
